We offer a two-year genetic guarantee against crippling dysplasia and other defects. Our adults are DNA tested when possible to ensure that puppies will not inherit genetic defects common in the Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel and Poodle.

We temperament test our puppies to make sure they are going to acceptable homes. Read about the Volhard Puppy Test on our Links page.

We use training aids and props while our puppies are playing. They hear a vast library of sounds from the effects library including thunder and lightning, dogs barking, city sounds and trains. Our puppy box simulates a doggie door and our platforms get them used to different walking surfaces.

We begin training on newspaper at 4 weeks old and use a collar and leash at 6 weeks. They will experience at least 1 long car ride while here.

We recommend and use the crating method with our puppies.
